Weekly Update - Pool Party Week 2

Hello Everyone,

We hope you have been having fun in the sun with your brand new swimming pool! However if you thought that learning to swim and racing your friends was the height of enjoyment you are in for a big SHOCK!

This week we present: Pool Party Splashdown. Dive into a whole new world of fun by upgrading your existing swimming pool adding ANOTHER 50k to your house value!

New Project Item

So you’ve built a swimming pool at your beautiful vacation home and added a massive 50k to the house value! You’ve learned to swim and even taken to challenging your friends to a race, however in the back of your mind you still have this feeling that something is missing….

Well worry no more. This week you can upgrade your swimming pool to add a super cool waterslide and diving board! Practice your water bombs or just throw yourself feet first down your brand new waterslide, it’s time for more fun with Pool Party Splashdown.

New items

If you are looking to explore the dark depths of your new pool then why not pick up some scuba gear and learn to scuba dive. You’ll be discovering hidden shipwrecks (or lost goggles) in no time!

After a long day of fun you’ll want a nice, comfortable place for your Sim to relax and gaze at the sunset. The Nü Life Gazebo is the perfect place for your Sim to sit back and enjoy their refreshing beverage on their own or with a friend.

This week also sees the welcome return of the mystery box! The Summer Party mystery box contains 10 brand new items for you to collect, whilst completing the collection will reward you with ‘Nü Life Poolside Assistant’. This desirable writing skill item will allow you to read your favorite novels out by the pool.

This week’s quest has you competing against Bella in a diving competition. Can you complete 3 perfect dives in a row? If so then you will be on step closer to earning this week’s quest reward; The Aquabatix Tropical Walltank.

Pool Athletic Skills: As soon as you start the second part of the Pool building, you won't have access to the athletic skills. However once you finish it up, you will be able to continue where you left off.

Beat Bella's Personal Best: Make sure you are trying to beat Bella in Diving, not swimming.

Crafting Goodnight's Sleep: The workaround is not to click 'use' on the items you've crafted until that step of the quest is complete.
